A Birth Doula's presence significantly enhances the labor process, contributing to a positive and empowering birthing experience. My mission is to support expecting parents in achieving a safe, informed, and empowering childbirth. As both a Birth Doula and Childbirth Educator, I possess professional training in childbirth and specialize in offering emotional, physical, and educational support to expectant and laboring parents. Throughout your labor, I am committed to unwaveringly supporting your choices, ensuring you emerge from the childbirth experience feeling empowered, confident, and heard. Regardless of the type of birth you are planning—whether it's a home birth, unmedicated birth, scheduled cesarean, epidural, or hospital birth—I am committed to ensuring you feel supported in your choices and receive the respect you deserve. My dedication is to stand by your side throughout your entire labor and birth experience.

Educational Guidance: Throughout your pregnancy journey, I am here to provide evidence-based information and address any questions you may have. Whether it's during pregnancy, the onset of labor, throughout the labor process, or post-birth, you can reach out to me at any time via email, text, or phone for reliable support and information.

Labor Pain Management: With professional training as a Birth Doula and expertise in Spinning Babies, I am equipped with a range of skills in pain-relieving comfort measures. During labor, I will work closely with you to enhance your comfort, employing techniques such as breathing exercises, relaxation methods, massage, acupressure, and various laboring and birthing positions.

Dedicated Labor Support: From the moment you feel the need for support and throughout your labor and delivery, I will be by your side, providing continuous and personalized assistance. During your labor, you are my sole focus, and I am dedicated to supporting you entirely.

Calm, Non-Bias, Informative Support: As situations arise, and decisions need to be made, I will guide you through your choices. Offering evidence-based information, I assist you in making decisions that align with your preferences, your birth plan, and your family's needs. Acting as a bridge, I facilitate conversations between you and your care provider, ensuring you feel comfortable, informed, and confident in your choices. My support is characterized by a calm, non-biased, and informative approach.

Research has found, people who received continuous support during labor, from a doula – had a decrease in the risk of Cesarean by 39% and an increase in the chance of a spontaneous vaginal birth by 15%. Additionally birthing people had a 31% decrease in the risk of being dissatisfied with childbirth experiences. Continuous Doula support also showed a decrease in the use of pain medication and a shorter labor!
